Unsolved Mystery (Murder Cases in Pakistan)
Mysterious Murder begins with the creation of Pakistan. Many murder stories in history are still unsolved. Many famous personalities of Pakistan died, leaving the nation in sorrow, but the mystery remained unsolved even after years.
The famous TV host and analyzer, Aftab Iqbal, describes Pakistan’s history as “The Bag Full of Mysteries.” Here we have discussed some of the legendary murdered persons in Pakistan History. Let’s try to solve these mysterious murders. Here we go!
1. Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah
The founder of Pakistan, M. A. Jinnah, is the well-known personality of history. The death of ‘Baba-i-Qaum’ is also an unsolved mystery of Pakistan. The official news broke that he died a natural death due to illness (tuberculosis). But few questions are still there. Quaid-e-Azam reached Karachi from Quetta, on 11th Sept. 1948. Not any official person from Pakistan Government came to the airport to receive Quaid-e-Azam. Why? He was ill, but the Government didn’t clear the roads for making his traveling easy to the residence. Why?
The ambulance that took Quaid and Fatima Jinnah from the airport was on the way to Governor House when it runs out of petrol. Isn’t it strange? The new ambulance arrived after an hour, and Quaid remained in broken ambulance sweating. Moreover, Fatima Jinnah wrote a biography about Quaid named “My Brother,”. Moreover, Col Ilahi Baksh wrote a book titled “With the Quaid-e-Azam during his last days”. Both books were banned by the Government due to the reason that “My Brother” is Un-Islamic. While the latter banned because the author blamed the Government for Quaid’s death.

2. Dr. Fatima Jinnah
Fatima Jinnah is the sister of Muhammad Ali Jinnah. She is a respectful personality and the mother of the Pakistani nation. Moreover, she was professionally a dentist. But preferred working as a political companion with her brother. She died on 9th July 1967. Her died is still an unsolved mystery. The news broke as Fatima Jinnah died due to Heart Failure. But many rumors about her murder are still there.
Moreover, no one was allowed to see Miss Jinnah’s dead body. The civilians were also kept away from the funeral. Besides this, the famous senior advocate of the Supreme court of Pakistan, Syed Sharifuddin Pirzada, quoted that Fatima Jinnah was murdered. His quotes published as headlines in “The Nation” and “Nawa-e-Waqt”. However, she was buried next to her brother, Quaid-e-Azam. But the murder is unsolved mystery of Pakistan.
3. Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy
The fifth Prime Minister of Pakistan was a great lawyer, and companion of Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He was living in exile at the time of death. The official statement describes that it was a natural death due to cardiac failure. But it is a mystery murder. Because it is also reported that he was poisoned. But no proof was available. However, he was buried in Dhaka, Bangladesh. History has embarrassed the unsolved mystery of Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy murder case.
4. Liaqat Ali Khan
The first Prime Minister of Pakistan, Liaqat Ali Khan, is the well-known name in the History of Pakistan. He was murder on 16th Oct. 1951. The murderer named Said Akbar, shot Mr. Khan at Company Bagh, later named as Liaqat Bagh. Moreover, another politician and first female prime minister of Pakistan, Benazir Bhutto, was also assassinated at the same Garden. The shooter, Akbar, was an Afghan citizen. He was sitting in the front of the stage, on the chairs designated for CID Officers. The question arises, how he reached there? Moreover, he targeted Liaqat Khan, and later a police officer shot him (who claimed that senior officer ordered him to shot Akbar).
The New York Times also reported that the Pakistan Government was involved in this murder case. Because Akbar was monthly funded (Rs450) by the Government of Pakistan. It is also an unsolved mystery murder in the history of Pakistan. Even after 69 years, the case is unsolved.

5. Zia Ul Haq
The sixth President of Pakistan, Zia Ul Haq, was Army General. He served the nation for ten years and died on 17th Aug. 1988. His death left many unanswered queries. The reason behind is death is plane crash. He was traveling from Bahawalpur to Islamabad with some army officers and two Americans. The plane lost his contact with the tower just after takeoff. Moreover, the black box was also not found after the crash.
The investigation started immediately; the plane was tested; the crashed plane parts were sent to the US for examination. The technical teams reported that there was no fault in the engine, and the plane was working properly. The Institute of Nuclear Science and Technology, Pakistan, reported that plane crashed parts contained some explosive material that is not used in-plane structure. Hence, it was a criminal attack. The family of Zia Ul Haq wanted to pursue the case, but the general’s friend in US intelligence informed that it is dangerous for the family if the investigations continued.
Furthermore, some authors also collected information about Zia Ul Haq and tried to write a book or documentary. But nothing related to this issue got published. This is another unsolved mystery of Pakistan’s History.
